Super Visa Extension

Hi again, just wanted to confirm in my case. Our old passport with the actual visa also expires this April and new passport was issued in october 2019 but the stamp was issued till Feb 2021. So it is ok in my case with new passport, expired visa and valid stamp. Right?

I really don't know why you keep referring to the new passport. It is irrelevant. Status was issued upon entry based on the passport she had at entry. Her getting a new passport doesn't automatically extend the validity of her status with IRCC/CBSA.

Ok, given of her invalidity of the old passport, what should we do if you were on our situation? Do you think visitor extension should be done? When should we apply her? We need your advise, coz we are in a desperste situation. Thank you in advance.

We really needed my mother-in-law to take care of our kid since he is only 9 month old. Life is hard and lots of struggles, having your family with eases the burden of spending much to a day care.

You also must remember that a supervisa does not mean that she can visit forever so you should be making a plan b for daycare if/when your mother needs to leave Canada.

I just checked again her passport, and there is a stamp from CBSA, the stamp is the date of her entry, thats it. They didnt have a writing with it

Hi,
My mother-in-law has been accepted for super visa (PG-1), and the expiry date is Mar 2020 (because her passport expiration is March 2020 too).
She arrived in Canada on January 2019 and then renewed her passport here in Canada last Spring May 2019. The new passport, without the Visa has 10 years validity.
Since her Super Visa expiration on her old passport is March 2020, what should we do to make her stay longer?

Basta 2-3 mos before expiration ng statis (not the visa), magaapply na po kami ng extension this month, then going forward every 6 months, extend extend lang.

Wala naman pong sinabing limit. As long as bago magexpire ang status, dapat lagi po tayo magfile ng extension

Nagarrive po inlaw ko last jan 2019, since 2 yrs ang first stay, unless may stamp at sign ang cbsa na certain date, ang filing ng extension should be before jan 2021. From jan 2021 to july 2021 po ang iffile naming 1st extension, then 2nd extension is july 2021 to jan 2022. So on and so forth until such time na masponsor po namin sya as PR.

Halos sabay pala kami, ako Feb 3, 2019 dumating dito kaya malapit na rin mapaso ang status ko pero ang visa na nakatatak sa passport ko ay matatapos sa May 2021. Nagsisisi nga ako sana nirenew ko muna yung passport ko bago ako nag apply para 10 years sana ang nakuha ko. Nagpasa na rin kami nang application para sa extension ko at sana ay payagan ako kundi mapipilitan na akong mag exit at mag apply uli nang super visa. Salamat sa oras mo, God bless!

Ilang taon nga pala yung naitatak na visa sa passport niya?

Up until March 2020 po yun nakatatak sa VISA nya.
Pero as per the IRCC website, valid ang first stay nya for up to 2 years.
Kasi ang ibig sabihin po ng VISA, it is a document that states the date that you "MUST" arrive.
