Submitting invitation letter after applying?

Since I couldn't find an answer to this question while searching through the forum, I'm making a new thread.

Question: Is it wise to submit an invitation letter through webform after submitting the visit visa application and waiting for 2 months? Will it help in any way?

Background: My fiance applied for a visit visa from Dubai along with her mother on 11 April 2022. Her mother got the visa in 2 weeks but we haven't heard anything about my fiance's visa yet. The mother used an invitation letter from her distant cousin because she was applying while on tourist visa in Dubai. But my fiance didn't since we were certain she'd get the visa soon -- she also has a US visit visa which we thought would help her case. Alas, no reprieve yet and our wedding is next month.

Timeline:
11 Apr - Application submitted
19 Apr - Biometrics completed
(complete radio silence)

Current status (if that makes any difference):
Eligibility - We are reviewing your eligibility.
Background Check - We are currently processing your background check.

I have also submitted a webform 2 weeks ago and applied for GCMS notes last week. Haven't received anything yet.
