Study Permit Delay

Hello Friends,
I have submited my application online on 24th feb. 2016 for student visa. The very next day I got a mail from cic that " Your application has been updated ". and that was d last response from them. its about 9 days today but no further mail from them. I am worried now. why it takes these many days for processing the application.

many of my friends applied online and they got visa in seven days. but its totally reverse in my case.

can any one tell me what can be the reason???? really tensed a lot....
plz reply friends who have any information related to this.

I have the same problem, but I submitted my application on Feb 6th and the next day I recieved another message... I don't have any update since that day. You have to check processing times for your country, and if they take more time for processing your application you can send them an email asking why or asking about the status of your application.

I had to wait for 105 days to get visa approved,,,Just be patient, everything will be alright.

Visitor visa : 18 days initial
Student :28
Worker : 28

so be patience !!! GOD WITH YUH.....GUD NYT MY FRD...

wot i realize.....student who receive passport back in less that 10 days ..they receive refusals so ....its good to b taken average time .......AMEN

I have applied on 8th of february and i haven't got any reply till now except the biometric letter even tho the normal processing time for my country is 3 weeks but as they say:
The key to everything is patience. You get the chicken by hatching the egg, not by smashing it.

I have been waiting since Nov 2nd 2015 for TRV "" returning student "" and nothing from VO till now !
