I had to wait for 105 days to get visa approved,,,Just be patient, everything will be alright.

It took 90 days to get response from them, in my case. And finally I got visa. So, don't worry. But, still, If you think you have missed something important documents while applying, you better send them with the request letter via vfs.

In most of cases, it means rejection. Anyways hope for the best. BTW, When did you apply? Where did u apply from?

Actually, I had applied on 3rd November for May session. But due to the delay in visa I had to defer my admission to May. My course is MS in Electrical Engineering

I got visa for May session on February 12.

I have already got visa for May...u can apply as soon as you can.

Don't the visa office say we should submit the medical report witin a month. I suggest you write a letter about it and send via vfs office.

I have heard that Taking IELTS would help in visa processing as well, so, you could take the test, that way it would be useful for getting admission from the university as well as for visa...

I would send a letter(hardcopy) explaining all and would attach the printout of email from IOM confirming the submission of upfront medical screening via vfs. BTW, which session had you applied for???

You should show the proof that you Will not face problems while studying in Canada due to English language. That's why you should send the TOEFL/ IELTS (IELTS is not mandatory) scorecard to the visa office.

You should send the score via ETS. It takes 10 -12 days for your score to reach the university.

I took TOEFL and got acceptance from the university . I think they won't ask for IELTS if you applied with TOOEFL score. Anyways, the best way to confirm this is to ask the university.
