I am currently doing computer engineering from India and above average student. I am very interested to come to Canada for future education in computers.
If you can please help me with below questions to choose the right career for myself

What is the easiest/fastest way to get PR after post graduate studies? (Post Graduate, Master of Science or Master of Engineering)
What is best post graduate course PG, ME or MS thinking to get PR in mind?
What is best college for computers you can suggest in Canada?
Can someone after getting PR call parents? Can parents get PR?
Is it possible to set some business after getting PR in Canada?
How much time citizenship takes after PR?

- A masters is your best option if you want PR.
- Colleges don't offer masters. You must attend university.
- Yes, parents can get PR after you get PR. But expect it to take 10 years (possibly more) for them to get PR after you do.
- Yes, you can start a business once you have PR.
- By the time you become a PR, you will have to live in Canada 4 years to qualify to apply for citizenship after you become a PR. This assumes you don't leave Canada for even one day during these 4 years. If you travel outside of Canada, it will take even longer to qualify for citizenship.

Thanx Scylla a lot for the reply. Your help with this is highly appreciated.

Could you please tell me good universities for doing master in computers? And any preference, should I give for Master of Science or Master of Engineering. or both are same?
And how much time it can take to get PR after doing masters.

And once again thanx a lot for the info.

Sorry Scylla, but I don't find 4 year to get citizenship you mentioned to live in Canada without even single day out is correct.

Below site say it is only 1095 days in last 4 years
cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/become-eligibility.asp#time

And for parents, below post seems have correct timings
cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp

Read the new Citizenship Act, which the 4 years residency in 6 years will probably be in effect within the year.
