Hello friends

My CRS drops to 398 when I include my wife secondary applicant and if create a profile as wife not accompanying the CRS score jumps to 415, at least I can hope for PNP. Can I create my EE profile as wife not accompanying and once I land in Canada can I sponsor her?

Thanks,
Karthik

Yes - however you have to be prepared to be separated from your wife for around a year. As a PR, you'll need to be living in Canada to sponsor your wife - and it's unlikely she will get a TRV to come and visit/stay with you in Canada. You can take short (2-3 week) trips occasionally to visit her. However you need to be spending most of your time in Canada.

When can we apply for spouse sponsorship after PR?
I know processing time for spousal via is 12 months but is there any restriction of duration we need to stay in canada before applying her visa?

You can sponsor her immediately after landing. You must be physically in Canada to submit the sponsorship application.

Most likely a tourist visa will be refused.

And If we already have a tourist visa, would that be canceled too?
No - then you should be OK. But remember than they can't come and live in Canada while they wait for the application to be processed, they can only visit temporarily. If it looks like they're moving permanently, it's always possible to be refused entry.
