What is the advantage if I will submit my medical together with my application package than to wait for embassy instruction to undergo medical?

speeds up the process, rather than waiting to receive a letter from them saying to go do it then when you submit it u'll be waiting for them to response stating they received it etc...it's all up to you

When they send you a request, they put the file away and come back to it in a month or two. If you have the medical already done for them to review, there is no wait. On the other side, the medical expires after a year and you have to redo it, if you don't land by that year expiry.

They announced today they don't want medicals upfront. Or PCC's. They want to request them.

Just really pointing out that an [existing] applicant shouldn't assume that after one year they have to endure another exam, automatically.

Yes. However, I said that 15 minutes before IRCC said no more upfront medicals .

You're right though. Usually they extend them, unless there is a fair reason not to (high risk country, etc).

I'm lacking only for my upfront medical and planning to do it nextweek.

Look over the CIC website to see if they have any announcements... I think you may have to just follow the new system. ???
