It's been almost 16 months and I am waiting for my wife's interview. The timeline for waiting is egregious.

Hello all my friends,

First I like to thanks those people who share their valuable interview experience. It helps me to prepare my interview. I did not know about the interview preparation but CANADA VISA.COM Section -Topic: Spousal Sponsorship Interview Questionnaires, Experience, Preparation help me lot. The forum teaches me many things.

I did not know about GCMS NOTE, I did not know how to write a cover letter, I did not know how to prepare myself, I did not know where I face my interview, I did not know in my interview day can I get help from interpreter , I did not know how can I bring my documents ?

1st February when I become a member in this forum I am a blind person about my interview preparation. I ask help many people some people respond and some did not. But to me I am benefited to become a member of this forum. I know all this thing from this forum. I see many help advice in this forum which really help me. I am very weak mentally about face my interview.
I never hesitate to help anyone if he or she needs help from me. The helping thinking I get from this forum. I know one advice or one experience make one life.

I am very happy my application status is now ”DECISION MADE”. This forum helps me to face my interview. That’s why I request every applicant share your experience and make interview easier. It is not competition it is about humanity because here every person suffers for their interview.

I want to share my personal experience and want to like talk about the process about Canadian spousal immigration visa which is under Singapore visa office.

When I applied For My Visa:

I applied my Canadian spousal immigrant visa 12 June 2014 and my file transfer to Singapore visa office 11 August 2014. Singapore sends me a letter 8 September 2014 that I am pending for interview. The interview waiting time is 24 months.

When I get my interview letter:

I got my interview email after 17 month later. They send my interview email 17 February 2016.

My interview date:

My interview held in Dhaka Canadian High Commission in March 14 2016. In interview letter there they required---------

Update Application form,
1 .Generic Application Form For Canada [IMM 0008] (PDF, 536 KB)
2. Additional Dependants / Declaration [ IMM 008 DEP] (PDF , 472 KB)
3. Schedule A- Background / Declaration [IMM 5669] (PDF, 170 KB)
4. Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] (PDF, 88 KB)
5. Use of Representative [IMM 5476] (PDF, 55 KB)

Police Certificates:
• Certificates of Good Conduct or No Criminal Record issued by the law enforcement authorities for you and all family members 18 and over. Certificates are required from all countries in which you or your family members have resided for six months or longer. These certificates may be submitted at a later date if unavailable on the date of the interview.

•Applicants residing in Vietnam must apply in person for a Judicial Certificate, Version 2 (Phieu Ly Lich Tu Phap So 2) at the Provincial Justice Department (So Tu Phap) where their permanent residence is registered.

Civil Documents:
• Marriage/Divorce/Custody/Adoption/Death Certificates (as applicable)
• Birth certificates for all persons included in your application
• Household Registry or Family Book
• National Identity Card for all persons included in your application (if applicable)

Proof of contact with your sponsor:
• You and your sponsor's telephone bills for the past 12 months
• Photos of you and your sponsor taken together at various times during your relationship
• Wedding party photos (if applicable)
• Engagement party photos (if applicable)
• Original letters with envelopes from various times during your relationship, starting with your oldest correspondence
• Original money transfer receipts from your sponsor (if applicable)
• Old family photos showing you and/or your child(ren) with your sponsor (if applicable)
• Proof of your sponsor's visit(s) (airline ticket coupons, boarding passes, pages from your sponsor's passport showing entry and exit stamps, copy of visa(s) used for entry/exit, etc.)


If you are or you have dependant(s) over 22 years of age:
• All secondary and post-secondary school transcripts
• All secondary and post-secondary diplomas, certificates or degrees


Other:
• Passport or Travel Document (if available) for all persons intending to go to Canada (validity should be at least one year from the date of interview)
• Copy of your sponsor's immigrant visa (if applicable)

2. Why are you not living with your in-laws?
3. Who are you tutoring?
4. Give me their names of parents and phone number?
5. Who is your sponsor?
6. How did your father address him?
7. Where is your sponsor now?
8. Why is sponsor not in Bangladesh?
9. When was the last time he visited Bangladesh?
10. Are you pregnant? Why not?
11. Why did you divorce?
12. Why did sponsor divorce?
13. How did you know sponsor?
14. Does his mother know that you are a divorcee?
15. Why ask you to call him and not vice versa as you are girl?
16. What happen when you call?
17. Did your father also arrange other marriage for you?
18. When was your marriage?
19. Why are you in such hurry?
20. Who is sponsor living with in Canada?
21. Rented house from who?
22. What is sponsor doing in Canada?
23. Have sponsor sent you picture of his work place?
24. Have sponsor visited your parents or sister in USA?
25. What does sponsor do during his free time?
26. Where does sponsor go for shopping?
27. Did sponsor tell you about the place where he is staying?
28. What is sponsor favorite restaurant if he wants to eat Bengali food?

When I get my re-medical email:

After my interview they send my re-medical 1 month 5 days later. I did my medical from Dr. Wahab’s Clinic and it cost 4000tk . They send my re medical report Singapore. When the Clinic update my re medical report and after 7 days later my application status show “DECISION MADE”.

Now a day I am waiting for my passport request and thanks all my friends
