Just checked my email and received an email from CIC saying that I the Sponsor have been approved. Submitted my application March 22nd so it looks like they're actually starting to process applications faster.

hi there I'm new here it want to know about processing time for ciccause I applied in December 2015 for my husband and it still says in process on my ecas. And he got his pcc from back home.can anyone tell me how long they gonna take to final the case

That is so amazing! I submitted my application in March as well. I would cry of happiness if I got stage 1 already. Fingers crossed!

My wifes application is one of those three, I feel like we're blessed so far on the PR app but we're really hoping the OWP comes soon because of obvious reasons!

I've sent my Sponsorship application and work permit application in May. I've recently completed my upfront medical examination and I want to send the medical document to CIC. Can any one please tell me to which address do I need to post and along with Upfront medical document, do I need to include any other documents.

My husband got file number but I did not even I'm the sponsor and did not get any 2nd AOR. What's the 2nd AOR please reply. And we applied December 2015.did anyone got medical request???

Hi I am December applicant as well. I did not received any request from CIC. On june 10 I received my second AOR which I recived the principal applicant and my sponsor's AOR we received it on Jan 13. I saw medical received in ecas on June 19 this year. did you send the medicals upfront?

Congrats to all of those that are getting processed quicker (us included). It certainly is a privilege. I think it's unfair for 2016 applicants to be getting SA already even before OWP when there appears to be a gap in mid 2015 applicants who are still waiting. I feel for those applicants that have been waiting for over a year already.
There's nothing applicants can do about it but I just think it's poor form on CIC's behalf not to process applications in some sort of date received order.
But, you never know maybe 2015 will get everything all in one hit very shortly & 2016 will get SA and have to sit on it for a while. Only time will tell I guess.

My husband did not go for any medical yet . We are waiting for MR. What is AOR ?? It's says on ecas that application reviewed and started processing in January but I did not get any email. My husband got email for AOR but not me.

Wow. I'm surprised I received a sponsor approval letter sooner than I expected.
I actually received it on July 5, and we had been contacted a few times an told to send all documents to Vegreville in the future and not to the Mississauga address which is the address we sent our app too.
They received our app March 21, 2016.
So all in all, almost 4 months and an approval letter for me means their definitely moving.
