Spousal Sponsorhip - Finances question

Hi all,

I am wondering what scrutiny is there over the financial eligibilty of my Fiance in sponsoring me. What things would be red flags to the Immigration officer? My Fiance has a fairly well paying job (45-50k) but has some credit card debt and I am worried that this would be an issue. Can anyone offer any cases or ideas?

Thanks in advance.

As long as she hasn't requested social assistance, her debt will not be looked at. Just her income on the Option C printout.

Credit card debt will not affect the application. It's only when he declares bankruptcy and hasn't had it dissolved or when he goes on welfare.
