just wondering if anyone has done his medical exam lately,they have changed the way you do it here in morocco,i was at casablanca 3 days ago at Dr regragui solhi,he hasn't sent me the medical form yet,he said its changed,he is still waiting on my chest xray,,,i dont understand

When my husband had his done the doctor sent everything to immigration. He was only given a receipt for our records. Hope this helps.

This is for those who already have their PR card.

Do we have to contact Immigration Canada with a change of address if we've already received our PR card? When the card was received we were still living at the address provided during the process, but we moved about 1 month ago.

We found answers: Immigration Canada does not need a change of address if you are moving unless it's time to renew your PR card.

When my husband had his done the doctor sent everything to immigration. He was only given a receipt for our records. Hope this helps.

yeah but FatimZahra your husband has done his medical in 2011?!right?this is a new system,it's called Emedical they do everything online...i haven't gotten any receipt yet,,,it's been more than a week now,,,i have done the 1st medical 3 years ago,and i got the receipt the same day right away,,,

i went to see a doctor in Casablanca here in Morocco on May 21st 2013 to redo my medical exam.
I did blood work and chest xray,and the Doctor told me he couldn't get me the Medical receipt ,because CIC changed the system since May 13th,and plus i already have an UMI number in CIC system which is unique Medical identifiant,I tried to explain to him that that UMI number is from the previous medical Exam I did 3 years ago with a different doctor and as we know it expires in 12 months.
the doctor's answer is be patient, the medical exam takes time now.i will call you when it's ready,but he isn't sure if the system would let him get this Medical form or no
My question is,if i decide to go and get a new medical exam with another doctor,is this possible?
it's been over than a week we are waiting now,and before it only takes you one day or less to get everything done and get the medical form,
i dont wanna waste more time on simple things like that.

My husband then had to wait 6 weeks before immigration contacted him to say they received it.

please can you tell me when did you meet your husband the first time online and in person,and how many proofs you have,and if there is age difference between you,,,i can tell you everything about me and my wife as well,just to see if there is any red flag,,,lol

We met in both way but didn't get married until 2yrs after we started our relationship. Yes there is a small age difference. We sent every email, sms and chat since the beginning of our relationship. All photos with everything written on the back of them like they ask. All letters...cards...anything that proved we are in love. We even had family members from both sides write letters about our relationship. Our application took exactly the time it said 10 months (in 2011 it was 10 months time period) plus the time for approval of my sponsorship.

What red flags are you worried about? When did you & your wife apply?

As far as I know age is not a factor for them to deny you. There are plenty of couples in this forum that have age difference and were accepted.

we haven't applied yet,but are working on it,we did meet online on 2008 and in person for the 1st time on june 2009,then we got married on march 2010...we sent the 1st application on june 2010,but it got lost,i do belive there was something missing in it,or maybe we haven't done it right.so now we are working with a lawyer taking care of this
we have lots of proofs too,msn,yahoo,facebook,emails,skype calls records,phone bills,post cards,letters from my family and friends,and she has the same from her side,,,money transfer receipt,,,etc etc etc,,,wedding pictures,and lots of other pictures,she has been here with me 4 times.
she is older than me by 8 years...i do love her so much...
the red flag i was worried about is the age difference,but i know people in person who were older or younger by 16 years or more and they got approved
so your husband didn't have any interview????
