Hi Jomz, when we applied it was 10 months processing in Rabat. The application was sent to Rabat June 2011 and was approved March 15, 2012. They then asked that he pick up his visa April 18th. It was long and frustrating but we got through it. We always kept telling each other that one day we...

My husband also did not want to send even pictures of him giving me a kiss along with our private chats etc. But the person who helped review all our papers before sending them off put it this way: *If you do not send details of your relationship as a couple they could ask for an interview. In...

WOW it's great to see this section of the forum busy again! :D Some have asked about the length of time it takes. We applied in April 2011, I was approved in May, file transferred in June and finally the visa was approved March 2012. The only reason why a 2nd interview was requested is because...

It was very difficult but at the same time felt I couldn't leave my family with my Mother being so sick. I felt scared all the time. Every time I would read someone being denied I would start to feel that we would be the next ones. You can not go by what people go through on here. Each...

If you weren't feeling worried and scared I think that wouldn't be normal. I didn't have a note from our family doctor to explain about my Mother but I did give a lot of detail such hospital etc so if they chose they could look into it. But it wouldn't hurt to have the letter from her doctor.

Oh my! Good that you both kept moving forward and not letting immigration discourage you. Where I live there is a cultural centre that helps with new immigrants and checks all your papers for free. I wish this was offered to every city. It sure helped us a lot. I have been to Morocco 4...

My husband's 1st medical was done in 2011 and was given a receipt. He had to redo it Feb.02, 2012 and he wasn't given a receipt. This is for those who already have their PR card. Do we have to contact Immigration Canada with a change of address if we've already received our PR card? When the card was received we were still living at the address provided during the process, but we moved about 1 month ago.
