If you weren't feeling worried and scared I think that wouldn't be normal. I didn't have a note from our family doctor to explain about my Mother but I did give a lot of detail such hospital etc so if they chose they could look into it. But it wouldn't hurt to have the letter from her doctor.

We found answers: Immigration Canada does not need a change of address if you are moving unless it's time to renew your PR card.

When my husband had his done the doctor sent everything to immigration. He was only given a receipt for our records. Hope this helps.

This is for those who already have their PR card. Do we have to contact Immigration Canada with a change of address if we've already received our PR card? When the card was received we were still living at the address provided during the process, but we moved about 1 month ago.
