Sponsoring husband from Morocco

hey girls,

i have a question do u have to pay when u go for your visa ..due to passport chage then they had to give my husband another date to go pick up his visa and on the convocation email it says there might be fees ...has anyone any idea how much these fees????

i need answers guys at least to know how much money my husband needs....

Were all the fees paid when you submitted your original application? If so, no.

we didn't pay anything and my husband had already the new passport... so i don't if this helps

i just asked my husband and he said maybe u din't pay the whole fee for the sponsoring ship... and it doesnt matter for the passport but the fee are divided half for the canada and half for the visa so maybe u didnt pay all of it....

From what I see on the link in the previous post:

Sponsorship application fee: 75$

Prinicpal (you) applicant fee: 475$

Family Member of Principal Applicant (your husband): 550$

If you're still unsure, email the visa office.

my husband was supposed to pick up his visa aug 1st but due to him changing his passport less then 6mths ago they sd no we have to change ur date to aug 15th then on the letter sent by email it says there is fees for the visa...do u guys know anything about that...

Oh my goodness Vjamal, I'm so sorry I misunderstood you. Unfortunately I do not know about that. My only suggestion would be to email the visa office and ask them the amount owing if any. If you paid everything since 2010 I don't understand why they would ask for more.

So happy for everyone..Congratulations!!!....my husband received his visa on July 11 and arrived in PEI on July 13..lol he was so excited he didn't want to wait one day. We are so happy to finally be together, it is certainly worth all the heart ache to finally be able to wake up beside him everyday<3 ...God bless all of you

All my wishes of happiness to all of you who have their husbands next to them or who are about to have them next to them (does this sentence makes sense? lol English is not my first language).

My husband and I won the appeal and I would like to know what is next. Should we just wait for the visa office to contact us for new ID photos and medicals? Or, we are going to receive the court order in the mail and we have to forward it to the visa office in Rabat so they can re-open our file? I don't want to bother my immigration consultant as she is nursing her father who is dying.

All is well here... Half of the Ramadan is done and I have the impression this is not Ramadan but Eternity lol Days and nights are sooooooo looooooooong! With my husband fasting 16 hours a day, there is not much action lol

thanks habibti.....for sure theres not much action there during Ramadan lol ouffff i spent 4days last year and never again.....

well now yes Rabat has to receive the winning copy which takes a month on CIC you will be able to see the re-opening of the file then they will send him the medicals and ask him for photos and maybe some other documents...if he has changed anything like passport or documents you need to let them know...then its the wating time for another minimum 6months....

but even though sometimes you wanna give up ..you hang on day by day.....

but enjoy everything now dont think about that stuff.........

Thank you vjamal! Do they have to do the criminality/security checks again? As for the medicals, Rabat will mail my husband a form he has to take to the doctor with him?

my husband had to do the criminal check..and the paper with all his siblings in arabic and french.....they will ask him to send pics for the medical ....then he has to do redo them .....then waiting time at least will be 6-8months until he comes....but at least u know u guys won 3/4 of the battle.....
