I just got nomination from SINP (under international skilled workers category) and about to send application to CIC.

As per documents check list for provincial nominee IELTS required for job with NOC code C & D only. Mine is under B.

Documents checklist stated the following:

Buying Ticket from IOM with BIG discount

Dear Forum Mates,

IOM (International Organization for Migration, an agency of the United Nations). IOM has unbelievable offer for students, immigrants and their family members at a concessional rate.

You can book Emirates from Dhaka to Toronto for 71,094/BDT
Procedure :

Email requesting the desired flight ( date, class, no. of passengers etc.) and they will tell you to send the scanned copies of your passports including the visa page.

After getting your email they will reply with a booking draft along with the price. Note the price is applicable only for that day (as Dollar rate may vary the next day).

You have to send another email confirming the booking and after your mail they will confirm the booking with the airlines.

You will get several days to pay for the tickets. Once you are ready inform IOM office and they will send you the final price and schedule early in the morning and YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT THE EXACT AMOUNT IN IOM"S ACCOUNT AT STANDARD CHARTERED BANK (Any branch) ON THE SAME DAY AND RETURN THE DEPOSIT SLIP TO IOM"S OFFICE at Gulshan-1 on the SAME DAY so that they can buy the ticket from the airliner. He will take 2 working days to hand you over the e-ticket. You have to collect the tickets from IOM's office in person or by sending someone (to prevent forgery by any one like travel agent). After that he will mail you the e-tickets again. (I came to know and experience the whole procedure today while collecting my tickets, that's why I did not inform you guys earlier. It's nothing secret).

That's it.

You must contact for booking as soon as possible for the lowest price.

After getting your tickets from IOM you must go/contact Emirates office (at Gulshan-1) for pre-booking of your hotel accommodation, transport, visa and meal confirmation during stopover at Dubai Airport (if the stopover is longer than 8 hours, or if there is any special promotional offer like 'Dubai connect'). There is allocation of one room/ticket for each adult person. But you must ensure the booking. It can also be done during departure for Dhaka Airport but the Emirates officials encourages pre-booking so that you won't be in trouble later on. You can also choose and book your seat from there. If you need extra baggage you can also know the procedure and cost.

I dont understand what is going on in SVO now. Seems like they have stopped working for PNP. I haven't heard any new update from any PNP applicants after the holiday season.

I guess they got busy with the Express Entry applicants which is a bad news for applicants like me who haven't got anything after AOR yet.

7 months already passed away after getting AOR. ALLAH knows how many more months or years i have to wait to get the next update from SVO.

EE service actually start work after 4 to 6 month because its take time for applicant and his / her spouse need IELTS also collect applicant Educational assessment so we hope in this time other due work will be complete. we hope within 2015 all other applicant file will be done inshallaha.

Don't lose hope Nusrat. keep sending them emails. CIC is very prompt in replying client's query than SVO. I don't understand wot state of mind of people work there. When i couldn't see my ecas i sent emails to both CIC n SVO .Got reply from CIC but nothing from SVO till to date. SVO guys should try to increase their efficiency.

An update for our case. We got our passport request Dec 22, 2014. We submitted our passport on Jan 6, 2015, and decision was made on Jan 16, 2015. Our passport was dispatched from the Canada Visa Office on Jan 16, 2015. We probably will be able to collect it next Monday. The last step is landing.
