Hi guys! I applied under CEC in February 2014, and at the time i didn't have my T4 for 2013. I did have my final paystub for that year, which had all of the details on there, and every T4 for the previous 4 years. So i sent those. I did not have my NOAs for the past 2 years either, as I am going through a divorce, and my husband is causing a few headaches in that department

I received my email telling me that my application had been forwarded in March this year, and am intending on sending my T4 with my NOAs when they are completed (Hopefully next month). But my question is, do i really need them? My NOC is solid (I have been a retail manager for the past 5 years, lol, so I meet all of the criteria, and they have all my other T4s. I know it won't hurt to send it, but I am just wondering if it will be worth it.

Let me know what you guys think!

Hi,

T4 is one of the required documents under CEC you MUST submit it along with your NOA even though you submitted pay slip but its not good enough cic consider pay slips as a supporting document but T4 and NOA are must.
you have to submit it ASAP to avoid delays or even rejection.
by the way you shouldn't have submitted T4 for the previous 4 years all you need is the 3 years preceding the date you file your CEC application,in your case its T4 for 2013,2012 and 2011...same goes for the NOA you are going to need to get the ones for 2013,2012 and 2011 so you should either contact your husband or the canada revenue agency to get the 2012 and 2011 NOA.
i can assure you that these documents will be requested from you by a visa officer so delaying them is delaying your application...that if you are lucky enough because in a lot of cases a visa officer will make a decision based on the documents in front of him which in your case will most likely gets you a rejection, the onus is on you to provide a complete application.

CEC will ask you to send them. At the time I applied I didn't have the T4 nor the NOA so I couldn't do anything about it.
A friend of mine on a similar situation got an email from CEC asking him to send the documents. So don't worry about it.

Hi

As with the comment above, CIC requested these documents after my application was submitted and AOR received. I did not send them unsolicited.

They only asked for my 2013 T4 and my NOA’s for 2011, 2012 & 2013 (all the years I had been in Canada. They did not want T4’s from the prior years.

Thx

A

Thanks, I figured they would ask for them once it reached the right stage. It's just that I don't want to send two separate lots. I just wish my ex husband would be more co operative. He thinks that by being difficult he can cause me to get rejected for residency. I might just file my taxes without his T4s. That is looking to be my only option.

Yeah don't you worry. Just send whatever you have at this moment and then CEC will ask you for whatever they need :)

Don't worry about it, I don't think you will need his T4 to file your taxes.
