any idea why you got the travel history addittHEY CAN ional request.
is it even after you submitted scan copy of visa pages and mentioning all trips in online application form?

Hey all:
What is the rough timeline to go from submitting your application completely to getting PR?
I thought it was 6 months but it seems a lot of people are getting it within 2 months?

I feel the same, I have 11 months and they haven't asked for the medical exams that is why I am trying with the EE.
Did you already do the medicals for the PNP??

AOR Submitted: 23th Sep 2017
Now on 22nd Oct 2017 the status of the application shows the following changes:
1.You have passed the medical exam
2. We do not need additional documents
3. Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

I would want to know where exactly my profile has been positioned and what are the next steps and timelines for the remaining stages.

BCG: processing your application considered as IP1
BCG: processing your background check considered as IP2

I was in IP1 with message" "We are processing your BGC"

This is the message they use for IP1 also if candidate is CEC or have Canadian experience

Do you guys know of any instance where CIC sends an email to the employer for verification of reference letter?

Asking this, because an email from CIC might get blocked by the email server of my company. This is because of some kind of cybersecurity issues.

Can CIC reach employer via phone call as well? Will this delay the whole process?

I went to India for 3 weeks and i did not inform anyone. I think travelling is okay if it is less than 6 months stay outside canada

Interesting... it's more likely that they will call than emailing right? I've heard of them calling to verify but never heard of emailing

I have the same question...

Depending on your vacation destination, duration and your phone availability. If you're going out of the country with no phone access, then you better inform. If it's within Canada or US, then you can still use your phone. Unless they ask for passport.

No movement today as well, not sure what timelines to expect to NA2 and IP2 and PPR. I see PPRs for later AORs as well. Waiting there impatiently.
