Called IRCC and they're currently processing [paper] OWP up to September 19, 2018, approximate processing times are 101 days.
Anyone got their OWP today?
That's what the automated response says, yes?
That's nonsense.. it corresponds to the processing time indicated for work permit extention on the website. Until yesterday the registered response was September 4th and 102 days for paper submisson (which was dated from the 23th december by the way) and the one given now is already dated from the 30th december. They're not able to keep it updated or syncronised correctly.. spacially that yesterday two persons from 20th septemeber got their OWP.. so no logic behind that.. I think these processing times don't even aply to our case!

I just saw that xander88 updated the spred sheet, that he got his OWP today..

Hi All,
My inland spousal sponsorship was received Sept. 14, 2018. My medical exam was completed Dec. 5, 2018. I received an email today, Jan. 9, 2019 with my OWP. Prior to today, I hadn't heard anything regarding my OWP, but I got it just under 4 months which is what I was expecting. Hope that helps!

Print and fill out the form: https://vancouver.ca/police/assets/pdf/forms/vpd-form-fingerprint-request.pdf and bring it to VPD on 2120 Cambie St, Vancouver, BC V5Z 4N6.
You don't need to make an appointment but when you walk in, make sure you bring 2 pieces of gov issued IDs - at least 1 with a photo (e.g. driver's licence, passport, BCID) and another with or without a photo (e.g. birth certificate but no SIN card, and combined driver's licence and health care card will be considered 1 piece of ID).
It'll cost you about $60 and possibly extra $25 depending on your condition.
How long do you have to do your fingerprints? Is it 30 days, same as Medical Exam?

Not sure... I provided mine upfront.
If they didn’t mention it on the request, I guess sooner the better, like everything else

My father received the letter and his requested criminal background check with fingerprints from the RCMP and a PCC from home country. The letter states the results must be received by mail to the address provided in the letter. The deadline is 30 days from the day he received the letter.

Hi All, I need some advice, I submitted PR and OWP application and passed my medicals.
I am currently in US visiting my family, I was expecting my OWP to get approved and then travel back to Canada. But today I got fingerprint request. I am planning to come back to Canada in first week of Feb after my OWP gets approved. So my question is can I do my finger prints later or is that related to processing and approval of my OWP. Any help or advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

Doesn't your fingerprint request letter give a deadline for submission?

Yes it says it must be received within 30 days. My concern is whether the processing of owp is in any way related to fingerprint submission.
Idk if it affects the OWP or not as my father didn't apply for one. However, with regards to the fingerprints it is advisable to grt it done asap. I called our local police station for the appointment the same day my father got the letter and the earliest I got was 2.5 weeks down the road. Plus it takes a few days to get ypur results and mail them in as well.
