So i just checked online panel physicians they just sent my husband medical result today after 8 days so ill just wait for gckey to update for the medical pass

When I call to check the status of my work permit, the automated system gives me 2 different processing times.
First, it says WP applications made after August 26th are not yet being processed, processing time is approx. 104 days (which was December 17th for me).
Then it also says applications made after October 1st are not yet being processed. Current processing time is 68 days. Maybe I wasn't listening properly and they explained the difference between them but it seemed confusing to me

Just an update for all OWP applicants, I have checked with CIC agent today, Application processing times mentioned on the website are not relevant to our case. People who have applied OWP baed on the PR application they come into special program which is currently going on. So the waiting time for this program is 4 months from the date the application was submitted.

we have almost the same time line, mine was received 10 september , but BGC started from the first day , i dont know whyTimeline is in my signature.

The automated system response you heard was last updated on Dec 9 - meaning it is 10 days old.
According to their website, it should be updated every week. The one with 104 days is for paper applications and the second one is for online applications.
In our case, although it says "Online" application on GCKey, we fall into the 104 days category.
If I remember correctly, I believe your application was physically delivered 1 day before mine on Sep 11 so it has been exactly 99 days since, and this coming Monday, Dec 24, will mark your 104th day.
So if we do not get it approved this week, we may need to wait until next year as Dec 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30 and Jan 1 are holidays and weekends.
Maybe we should all forget about this whole thing, get into our festive moods and just enjoy the holidays with our loved ones

My owp application was recieved on August 30th but my PR Spousal Sponsorship App wasnt recieved till September 2 so I thought I'd share with you guys. So less than 4 months for me, hopefully some of you get something this week. Also I got medical request on December 3rd, completed it last Saturday the 15th and still waiting on update on website but I assume I passed.
