March 25, 2016!
We're hoping to have ours submitted within the first part of September!

I'm getting pretty confused about these wait times, though. I've heard of a lot of people who were from the USA applying outland getting their stuff done in around ten months or less, but now I'm seeing all these super grim posts about it taking years. I don't know what to reasonably expect as an actual timeline.

Also, how long does it usually take to get AoR? It looks like 1 - 2 months, from what I've seen.

Well the people who get their COPR fast usually don't hang around to complain about it, which is probably why you see the grim posts more than positive posts. You are much more likely to get yours within the 9 month average, much less if you are lucky. Ours took under 4 months. Don't worry too much, if you don't have a complicated case.

Just got back from shipping mine off at the post office! Fingers crossed...
Do we have a spreadsheet for September 2015 applicants?
With the federal election coming up, I am hoping that CIC has some extra political incentive to push things through faster.

I'm a Canadian and my common law boyfriend is from Antigua, I was just approved to be the sponsor and now waiting for Step 2 for his Permanent Residence. My understanding is that his papers were sent to Trinidad, does any know how long it takes? We were told his papers started processing June 24; also will he have to go to Trinidad for an interview? My boyfriend lives now in Antigua and we cant afford too much for him to travel .. Ive already saved up for his trip to Canada if he gets approved.

Thanks

Hello Everyone!

in couple of days we are sending our application, so will be in September list :)

I have a question, answer to which I really didnt find on the forum (I did search thoroughly)...maybe someone can help. I am residing in Germany atm and I have a residence permit card, it is of course in german. But I am not sure if I have to translate it and also notarised it (as I am not going to send the original to them, only copy).

When I applied for the TRV I provided just an electronic copy of it, without any translation...and was approved.

If anyone have any comments, please comment.

Hey everyone :)

Just submitted mine an hour ago :) I'm so so excited can't stop jumping :) Thank you everyone on this site for your valuable help :) We couldn't do it without you.

Just a question about the spreadsheet: I can only view it, I cannot edit it. How that works?

Best of luck to everyone :)
