I just call CIC and the guy was nice took almost 5 mins to check my file and said everything looks OK and file status is in process and somebody is working on my file. that's it so it is a good sign or what ?

No idea man,,,,they tell everyone same thing , i called CIC today, lady refused to check anything on my file. she actually told me what every story you going to tell me , my answer for you not going to change. i was almost going to cry and she made me beg as well.

the miserable truth is , we always try best find positive infor e.g someone start work on it, but for them, it is just arbitrary words . no difference between, no touch or somebody is working , wait months, deadline soon.

They asked for the PCC from our home country. We've submitted it in 2014, but I guess it expired.

I was on student visa after my cec application. Can I apply for Bowp now because i have aor????

No, we didn't go back to our home country since we applied for PR. I don't think you should worry about that, I did not submit the PPC along with my application, I sent it a few weeks later, so maybe they simply never added it to my file.

I think you cant. As requirements for BOWP, you have to have work permit which will be expired within less than 4 months.

Any senior can give advise on this issue?

unfortunately NO , the first requirement for the BOWP is that you should be on work permit which is due to expire with 4 months
