It's somewhat complicated if anyone can help me, I worked at this place for 1 year and I was paid a stipend monthly in cash, they made me a reference letter and salary certificate according to IRCC format. Now the thing is, in the salary certificate my salary is mentioned like this;

He worked at abc from 6th may 2019 to 6th may 2020 and was paid stipend 20,000 in cash, below is the monthly stipend breakdown from the year may 2019 to may 2020:

May 2019 - 20,000
June 2019 - 20,000
July 2019 - 20,000
Aug 2019 - 20,000
Sept 2019 - 20,000
Oct 2019 - 20,000
Nov 2019 - 20,000
Dec 2019 - 20,000
Jan 2020 - 20,000
Feb 2020 - 20,000
March 2020 - 20,000
April 2020 - 20,000
May 2020 - 20,000

Now my question is that technically I worked for 12 months but they mentioned my salary for 13 months, as you can see i worked from 6th may 2019 to 6th may 2020, last month of may is also added to the table (which means i was paid for working 1st may 2020 to 6th may 2020). Now I mean to ask that is this thing going to cause some issue? Or is this okay?

If the letter states the dates of employment clearly as from 6th May 2019 to 6th May 2020, then this should not be a problem.
Yes, the letter clearly states the dates, dates are mentioned exactly this way;

"_____ worked at abc as a _____ for the duration of 1 year from 6th may 2019 to 6th may 2020. ____ was paid stipend 20,000 in cash.
Below is the monthly stipend breakdown from the year may 2019 to may 2020:

May 2019 - 20,000
June 2019 - 20,000
July 2019 - 20,000
Aug 2019 - 20,000
Sept 2019 - 20,000
Oct 2019 - 20,000
Nov 2019 - 20,000
Dec 2019 - 20,000
Jan 2020 - 20,000
Feb 2020 - 20,000
March 2020 - 20,000
April 2020 - 20,000
May 2020 - 20,000"

Dates are clearly mentioned on both letters, but also considering that before the monthly breakdown, it says "from the year may 2019 to may 2020" is this fine?

I don’t see what the problem is here. You worked from May 2019 to May 2020 and the stipend reflect this. You are overthinking this. Shouldn’t be a problem.

I think yes, I am overthinking. Actually someone said that officer could see this as a discrepancy that as per salary certificate I was paid in full for working only 6 days (may 1st 2020 to may 6th 2020) and 26 days in may 2019. but this shouldn't be an issue, right? I'm so sorry for bothering you again. Hope you understand.
