This news is for the information of all frustrated or desparated friends waiting o hear from CIC about their PR Card renewal.
Please look at my timeline:
PR Card expiry : May 14, 2014
Completed 768 days on completion of my 5 year from landing
Applied for PR renewal on April 30, 2014
CIC received the application on May 06, 2014
I have lot of international travels during the past 5 years including Saudi Arabia, Europe and USA.
Too many arabic stamps on my passport.
Got translation about 11 full pages.
My frustration starts from June because ECAS never shows any updates.
It is always " Cannot identify ......................." until yesterday night when I checked.
Astonishingly today, Aug 26 2014, I got my new PR Card in my mail box.
It was prepared on August 21, 2014!!!.
What about the ECAS??. They are not always updating it.!! ??? :-[
