Guys my friends finally got the invitation today, however now they GOT a big issue.
His wife has 2 years of Canadian Experience, well she HAD. The company that she worked for got bankrupt and her former boss moved from Canada to another country and he will not provide any doc to support their application.
They have 455 points, however, with this bad news they will lose 7 points (spouse 2 years work experience).
They were wondering if she writes the CEPLIP/IELTS to get the extra points.
Can they take out her Canadian work experience, and put the Celpip points?
Is it allow to do this kind of swap?
Thank you.

Bingo!!! Man you are so accurate in predicting the scores.
Do me a favour please tell me when can I expect ITA. Crs 428
Will reduce to 423 on Jan 19th
If not 428 how are the hopes for 423 and by what time I can expect:(:(
Thank you for the predictions, as they made me strong not to expect ITA in the near future and patiently wait for Jan2018 to know the new trend.
Wait till Jan 2018 and hope that CIC increases the ITAs issued in each draw to around 3500.

Thank you so much for the support and encouragement. I got really depressed today
You are one of those who are going to get an ITA soon. There are lots of people in the pool with lower CRS scores and they would have been waiting for years to get an ITA. Don't get depressed too fast.

That range would be all but cleared by next draw
That range (CRS 451 - CRS 600) was cleared on the 15th of November too when the cut off was CRS 439.
The express entry pool is not static, everyday somebody is entering or increasing their CRS score causing influx to that range.

Got 452. No email yet. :( Looks like did not make it even though the draw score was 452.
With CRS 452, you had to create your profile before November 16, 2017 at 04:20:20 UTC to receive ITA in yesterday's draw.

Frankly speaking the cut off yesterday was CRS 453. Only a few lucky folks with CRS 452 would have got through who created their profile around Nov 15 - Nov 16 as all the others with CRS 452 who created profile before that would have got ITA in the Nov 15th draw (exception is those who declined ITA after receiving in a previous draw).

Hi all. We're in a real dilemma. Any help will be appreciated. this is regarding the counting of my total work experience. Let me give an example. One of my appointment letter states the beginning of tenure as 2nd august and end date as 13th Dec. However, in the express entry work history tab there's no option of dates but only month and year. In such a situation where my actual exp is 4months 12 days, the system will take it as 5 months. This creates a considerable change in my total work exp. we are not entering false information however, the system is giving no option.
what to do in such a situation?
Thanks.

Hey Itty this is my first time replying. Regarding your question about your total work experience I was in the same dillema like you. Express entry uses months to calculate your experience. The requirement is that you have worked for a year or 12 months period. That is why there is no option for dates. If you are not eligible it will let you know when you are done inputing your information. Once again it is calculated by months not dates. I hope this helps. I know people that got thier pr with this.

Just to be clear, My total work exp if I calculate date by date is 2 yr 11 months. However, with only months option and no dates option in EE, it's becoming 3yr 1month. This will greatly impact the CRS. Is this correct? I have no clue.

To be clear express entry counts it by 12 months period. If you started in Dec 2014 and you enter the pool in Dec 2017 the system will calculate it as 48 months which is equal to 3yrs.

I do not believe there is a reason to worry here. As far as I can tell, you have entered the correct months right and only the dates is what is confusing you? The system only takes in Months and not Dates. The other seniors can pitch in here. Good luck.

Yes, I did enter the correct months. And going by the present scenario and suggestions I'm receiving here, I feel it indeed is correct. However, viewpoints of senior members, as pointed by @Raz0r will be very helpful. Thanks @Udymike and @Raz0r

I have a friend that got his pr he started in Jan 16 2015. As of Dec 2016 the system updated his experience to 2 years. He got invited on Jan 12 which leaves 4 days to when he actually would have completed 2 years. There are other people with the same experience.
