Finally got my nomination today (October 20 2016).

Applied under ESD on Sept 16 2014 and application was accepted on Sept 18 2014.
Initial NOC 6551 and they considered my current NOC 0621.
Work permit expiring on Feb 2017


Can I change my employer now as I got nomination ?
Will my work permit be restricted to my current employer if I'll apply for Work permit extension without the File number (CIC federal PR application file number) ?

Hello I have one question. I have applied under skilled worker category in ainp. I have closed work permit till next september.my question is if i get the ainp on that basis can i get the open work permit ?...or I have to work under the same employer till I get my federal permanent residency...pls reply me

I feel like some discrimination is going on in AINP. Earlier last year when they stopped accepting new files, they didn't process a single file from INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE CATEGORY. And now almost all categories have less processing time but INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE CATEGORY still in September 2014 . I saw people applying in 2016 and getting nominated and we are here like waiting since 2 years. Hopefully they can do something for this category too.

Same here waiting almost 2 year. I applied in Nov 2015 still waiting. Wp expires in 2017. Hope ainp will start eds international graduate files.

Just to clarify because this question has been asked many times. If you are nominated under EDS you are linked to the employer throughout all PR process and if you get extention for work permit you will get a closed one.By nature this category is EMPLOYER DRIVEN. Those under SRS are not linked with employer and therefore will get open work permit.

However if you get your AOR , then you can apply and will get OPEN bridge work permit.

15 days after the verification call..no news yet!

I also got a call 15 days ago and still didn't get any news. What happened? Many ppl got it in same day or only one week, why our file take so long.

Hello everyone,

I just got a call from AINP officer today. After asking everything, she didn't tell me whether my application was approved or not. She also called my manager. I am just wondering how do we know that an application is approved or not ? Do we get a confirmation email or nomination is sent directly to our mailing address ?

After 16 days waiting since the verification call finally received my Ainp
Here is my timeline:

Applied July 22.PGW category SRS
OCT 5 th verification call, OCT 21 Ainp in the email.

One question for those who already got Ainp..does the certificate mentionsl about dependents ( family)? Because mine does not?
