Question regarding open work permit

Hello

Since the open work permit pilot program for inland applications is expiring this month, I was wondering if an application is sent before the expiry date would this be considered in case the pilot program is not renewed?

My second question is under what application circumstances does visitor visa status get converted to implied status?
a) Inland application with open work permit application
b) Inland application without work permit application
c) Any of the above two options

I think it's highly unlikely the pilot won't be renewed. Having said that, if for any reason it's not renewed - your application would need to be received by CIC (not sent) before the expiry date of the program to qualify.

Inland application with OWP = implied status.
