Question about passport

Hi all,

I have a question about applying passport. Correct me if I am wrong.

After oath, I need 2 days and then I can apply passport.

If I need my passport right away, I can get it in 2 days.

Because I have to go to Japan for the next semester, I need my passport right away. Otherwise, I can't get back in to Canada.

Am I right?

48 hours from the time of the oath (as mentioned to my friend by a CIC officer at the time of his oath). Express passport service will require additional CAD 110 and 24 hours (you have to show proof of travel to obtain the service).
