This query is for my spouse. We are currently in US and in process of PR

She has done Masters in Hospital Administration and Bachelor's of Physiotherapy from India.

- Around 2 years of experience in Quality Improvement and Insurance claims

- Certified by American Society for Quality (ASQ) in Quality Assurance.

She is planning to do some course of Medical billing and coding in US with 4 months duration. At the same time, for future scope we are thinking if whatever course we decide that has recognition in both US and Canada

If anyone from healthcare background, please let us know or if any other idea for different course with better prospects ?

No real scope in Canada. Health care and health insurance system here is completely different than in the US.

Thibgs like billing are going to be automated so wouldn't waste your time on some of these courses. As Mentionned previously most of the courses related to health care administration may not be relevant to the Canadian health cares system. If you are looking at immigrating I would plan to study in Canada after immigrating to save money but not study in the US unless you are planning on becoming and RN, various tech like x-ray, ultrasound, etc but those are all longer programs. You also may be able to get a general administration job without doing another course.
