I'm a cuban citizen,,living in miami(permanent resident of USA)(green card holder) and my wife(sponsor) is a canadian citizen(born and lives in quebec)

We will send our app early october,,,cant wait to get rid of that thing lol...

As my destination is quebec, can we land in other place ? Or we do not have the choice and have to land in the city in quebec. I am currently residing on the west coast in Canada and quite confused about how to land in Quebec? Thanks very much!

I wish I could help u out on that, but I am not sure to be honest. I was living in Quebec and my hubby landed here. We never had to wonder about that. I am sure if you post this Question as a new topic, someone could answer you....

I want to ask some questions about landed procedure.
I couldnt find a direct flight to quebec except flight trough middle east. All flights first landed in Toronto or Vancouver then continue to quebec. Where the landing procedure will be done? How long it will take?
I need yr info and suggestions. Thanks a lots.

I am applying for PR since i got my refugee status here in quebec i have a son and wife back home in EastAfrica,

Your landing procedure will still be in Quebec. Taking other flights to get to your final destination (Quebec in your case) makes no change to this. My hubby had to take two planes to get here...The procedure to officially land does not take long usually, maybe 20 minutes, depending on how busy the airport is. To avoid delays or problems, pack your luggage according to airport rules & regulations. You must bring the original documents (COPR, CSQ).

I am wondering. Did you received the letter from CIC asking for CSQ by mail or by email? Sponsor or sponsored adress?

I am aplying saying that I (sponsor) live in Quebec. However, I will still be with my love in his country (has a tourist) when we will have to ask for CSQ. I hope they will not send the letter in Quebec, and then ask for the original of it in CSQ aplication. Last time I intented to send something by mail in Peru it took 2 months before my bf receive it.....

I'm spouse, after SA I got email from Manila VO about they requested me for coppy of my CSQ.
My husband(sponsor) also got this email too.
I sent copy of my CSQ by EMS.

Is our spousal sponsorship application going to come under federal immigration or quebec immigration?

My wife is from alberta but currently studying in quebec from past 1 year and we are going to apply for spousal sponsorship but we are not sure under which we will come, can anyone help us.

If we come under quebec immigration, would it be good if we apply for CSQ before we send our application to CIC ?
And which process is fast federal or quebec??

If she lives or plans to live in QUebec after you get permanent resident status then SHE must apply thrugh quebec,this means she has to send the whole outland spousal sponsorship to CIC(missisauga) first and once they let them know she send the forms to QUebec for the CSQ
