Congratulations ... the ECAS doesnt usually have anything about RPRF ... the next update should be if they started processing your application. And the one afterwards is when they make a decision.

Ha! No! My ECAS is alive! ;D

I have a double name, meaning two last names connected by a hyphen. I actually had to type in the double name with a space and then it worked! So if your last name is e.g. "Smith-Miller" you will have to type in "Smith Miller".


My ECAS now states the following:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on December 8, 2014.

2. Medical results have been received.


Shouldn't it usually state something about the RFPR fee as well? In my AOR they acknowledged my payment of $1040 but they are not mentioning it in my ECAS...

Is sending an upfront medicals possible?

Absolutely! I did my medicals in November, so even before submitting my PR application. All I did was including the receipt in my application so that they can find the reference number in the data base and as my ECAS states "Medical results have been received" it was no problem. Hope this speeds up the processing time.

Anyone else heard anything yet?

I applied my documents on 10th December and they reached on 16th December.
Haven't heard anything yet. I called up my bank to check up on the bank draft and they told me there are no outstandings so it must had been cashed I assume.

Still waiting for AOR. I hope it comes soon.

I want to apply for QSW 2015 but I have not received my CSQ yet.
Should my first step be to obtain CSQ? if so , what is the approximate processing time for obtaining CSQ if i have all the necessary documents ready?
All in all i wonder if i can reach this years cap?

Don't worry you are not alone I submitted my application on Jan.19, 2015 and I haven't received anything yet...

In which category you have applied? regular permanent worker program was closed on 11th, Aug-2014.

No. The date is "to be announced"
