Hi guys, finally got our Medical Request from the visa office 2 days ago and yesterday, finished our Medical Exam. God is Good.

I still haven't sent my confirmation for the interview in HK for September. Do I really need to send it through fax or can I just print the document, sign, scan and then send it through e-mail? Thank you in advance to those who can answer this question.

@ go2montréal, congratulatns. Ur file seems to b cruising on all cylinders. Well i am yet to go for my medicals cos i am yet to get d letter sent to me 4rm d VO 16DAYs after it was sent & stil counting. D DmP has rfusd to examine me unless i provide d letter.I had said it b4 dat u r likely 2get d visa b4 me so keep on cruising

@ solokru: you have to either fax it or send through express mail. i sent through fax and asked for their acknowledgement through email.

@egrace62 : Thanks bro. just a headstart based on my case, I think you will receive from VO a letter telling you, to have your Medical w/in 30 days and a Medical form with your picture on it and that's where the DMP will write your Medical assessment, DMP will refuse you if you don't have this. It will also be the same form that the DMP will sent back to VO(medical officer) for final decision.

Your waiting will soon come to an end. it 's just a matter of time. Good thing is you know that it's on it's way. I wish you the best.

I have applied for the quebec selection certificate on 16 march,2011 and got the receipt of the same.
My question is that presently i am at 59 points and now i have done french A1 and A2 level(exams not given)
so still they will ask for an interview?

And if yes when?

59 points without delf a2 points or including

Secondly they conduct the interview to check candidates Future plans,Jobs, knowledge about quebec, french knowled etc etc
thirdly they interview those whose mostly first language is french or may be very good speaker in french.

Hi, Today I have found under processinng times website for quebec that currently no interviews are being held for India.
Any idea of reasons for same and expected time for re opening. Till now it was shown that till June 2010 applicants interviews are being held for India.

I'll just send the documents to them through FedEx like angeleye did. I think fax machines are steadily becoming rare since we already have e-mail nowadays. I can't seem to find one!

I'll be closely monitoring your progress kabayan! I have no idea how much time it takes for the federal part of the application here in our country would take. BTW, did you ever find the need to apply for a FBI clearance? Because I also need to apply for that since I've stayed in the US for more than a year. I think that would also take some time to process. Thanks!

I want to apply for Quebec and got the preliminary assessment done from the quebec official website and also through David Cohen, and they said that it is possible to get CSQ.

Can please some senior help me with understanding the point system for quebec.

Below are my particulars please advice.

Age:- 30 years
Qualifcation:- BSC computers Sciences 2003 pakistan
Experience in the relating field:- 8 years
English:- Working Convent School as Computer Head of Department
French:- Zero (Have already enrolled in Alliance French)


Spouse:-
Age:- 30 yrs
Qualification:- BSC + MSC computer Science
Experience:- Teaching in School
English:- Excellent( IELTS 6 band)
French:- No

Children:- 2

3-years
1-1/2 years

Funds:- Enough

No family in Quebec
No visits in quebec
No job offer in quebec

Can someone please help me with the point system. and the step by step process with a checklist of all the documents.
