Guys, I have a question. I'm currently waiting to have my interview for the CSQ, but I want to leave one of my jobs (I have two), because it's well...awful. Is it a problem if you leave/change jobs during the process? Does it "look bad"? Or does it not matter because points are awarded at the time when they receive the dossier?

And if I did leave, would I have to inform immigration at this point, or just wait until the interview?

Anybody know? Thanks. ;D

Just out of curiosity, on my CSQ, under remarks there is a certain code written (code 130.) Does anyone know what that means?

I know that different people have different codes so I'm curious what mine means

Help appriciated.

Anyways, I've gathered all my PPCs and this weekend I'll prepare my federal application. I'm planning to send it on Tuesday (12.04.2011)

Code 130 implies priority processing. Ur file wil b placed into processing write away but if there are several other code 130 as urs, they wil av to rvert 2 first come first serve basis although ds queue wil b diff 4rm those of other code. This presently my case. Accra vo has several priority cases hence i av gotta wait.

But try to send your documents by mail because E-mail is risky.

hi fellow Quebec devotee,

im new here but what you're all doing is highly appreciated!!! thanks for sharing all your experiences and infos...... it really makes us newbies at ease knowing were not alone....!!! and most of all congratulations on your new endeavor!!! viva quebec!!!! here you all go and hopefully we'll be there too... ;D I really would love to attend the victory party and party from sunrise to sundown........

i do have a few concerns:
1. already sent my application to HK and according to the tracking airway bill HK office received it last 1 Apr 2011 but until now havnt got any reply yet.....
2. any idea how long HK takes to process QSC???
3. what are the chances of being exempted from interview...???
4. going to start taking french lessons at AF... quite nervous as i really don't have any idea except for a few famous french words.... i was advice to put 1 in knowledge of french will this affect??? my french course will be completed by end of June or early july... does the interview really done in french???
5. I did not attached any ielts or english exams as our medium of instruction in school/university was english..... but i put the highest in english.... will i be required to provide later on???
6. as on present, im unemployed as i resigned last year from my work in the phils. and move here in singapore to be with my wife.. will this affect my QSC application???
7. when will be the bank cert be ask???

i know its tons of questions but your comments, info will go a long way to ease my anxiety....... please please please :-[

info: 33 yo, male, profession: nurse, 2yr 2months exp in a hospital setting.
