Sponsorship from outside of canada
We received your application to sponsor ******* **** on March 27, 2015.
We started processing your application on April 27, 2015.
We sent you a letter on May 26, 2015 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I received this way before may 26th i got my uci (approval to sponser) number from my laywer on may 5 or 6th so why would they be sending me another letter


Permanent Residence
We received ****** **** application for permanent residence on March 27, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Does this mean he will get his permante residence soon or are we excited for no reason... help me please!

Congrats it probably means you passed the first phase, sending you a letter just means you didn't check the box to your email they probably sent a copy to your lawyer and another to you which will come in the mail

Depends on the visa office.

Hello everybody!!!

Is the first time I write in a forum, this situation of the canadian PR makes me crazy and I read and read to find out whats going on.

I sent my application on December 24, 2014, My husband has been approved as sponsor in March 2015 and now I see a line saying the Medical Exams has been received since April 2015, I sent an email to the Mexican Embassy , where my files from outside Canada is being processed but they say haven't receive my papers yet. I am wondering how long time is this going to take to get my PR. Does any one from Mexico around?

I appreciate all the info you can share and wish a good luck to everybody!!!

But for january applicants, some already were issued visa last may so a total of 4 months only from the date of application.

But wouldn't it say "application in process" instead of "medical results have been recieved"?

It varies... As you can see on the forum, but generally it is counted from the date that the file is transferred to the specific visa office.

It depends on visa office.
As some receive the copr in 3 months, some receive in 14.
