Hi

Myself and my spouse are PR who were Saskatchewan province nominee but before 5 months I moved to Toronto in search of Job, and my spouse have now went back to India for her delivery. We are expecting our kid on Feb 2018. Could someone please take time in clarifying me the below queries please?

1) What is the procedure for us to add our new child in my PR application? Do I have to approach Saskatchewan government or can I apply through online CIC account?
2) Will Saskatchewan government will make any issue as I am a provincial nominee and moved to Toronto and now trying to add my new born child being in Toronto?
3) Is there any other key point that I have to know before starting the application?

Kindly advice...

How long it will take to sponsor for kids?
According to the website, the average for sponsoring a dependent child is 14 months for India.

It won't take that long. 6-8 months is the length of time that you should expect.

Hi, I have the below questions

1) I am planning to bring my spouse here in Toronto directly from India, but as per Toronto Government, I have to wait for 3 months to get Health card for my family, But for my family I have the Saskatchewan health card my query is if I hospitalize my spouse here in Toronto as per rules Saskatchewan government should honor the health card provided to my family will they be paying the full delivery and hospitalization fees to Toronto or will they be complicating the hospitalization fees?
2) In case if I want to take any insurance for the child birth in Toronto which service provider I can approach and how much it will cost?
3)On other hand,if I my child is born in India what are the chances of applying for TRV visa and then sponsoring the kid from Canada? I read somewhere in the forum that if parents both are PR and child is born outside Canada they can apply for TRV or TRP visa and when the Child is in Canada both parents can sponsor the new born child!
4) If I plan to bring my new born kid at earliest to Canada say within a month or two, what type of insurance coverage should I take inside Canada to cover all medical expenses i.e starting from Vaccination etc..? And how much would it cost?

Hello Friends

Please help me with this situation. Myself and my wife are canada PR staying here since last more than 2 years. My wife went to India for vacations while she was pregnant. The Indian doctor advised her to avoid air travel due to medical reasons, now she has to deliver the baby in India itself. I'm filling up forms for my new kid and stuck at one point in IMM1344. I added her as a co-signer in the form and while filling "co-signer eligibility assessment" there is one question # 3 which asks "Do you reside in Canada and in no other country?" what should be my answer (Yes or No?) as presently she is in India. The top heading says if you answer "No" to questions 1 to 3, you are not eligible to be a co-signer.

Now If I remove her as a co-signer then in check list (IMM5534) there is one section that says below "For Minor child - If you are a Minor Child and you are being sponsored by only one of the parents, your other parent must complete the Declaration from non-accompanying parent/ guardian (IMM5604). If you read this form this is if the spouse is not accompanying, which is not the case with me.

Please suggest, what are my options.

Regards..
