I do not know the number, would it be ok to just write 0000-0000 so that i can validate the form?
The UCI field is validated only if you try to enter something into it. I just tried a blank form and entered some invalid characters in the UCI field. It does give me a warning and does not allow me to proceed. But when I remove those characters, it allows me to proceed.

What the heck, i just tried what you said, filling a new form and not putting anything in that field, and it still wont validate it. I have left other fields blank and it's fine with those, but when i leave the UCI/Client ID field blank, it doesn't work. ???

I am going to plea to the forms for one last hope that someone can help me out. otherwise i'll just write in 0000-0000 in the UCI column of i can validate it then write a note saying why it's all zeros. :-[

2 things you may wish to note...
Do you have the latest version of Adobe?
When you fill the form (from scratch) ensure that you do not select the UCI field at all. Once you have entered the information in the field before uci, use tghe mouse to click on the field next to the uci field.

would that work?

I have the latest version of adobe X.

yes, i tried that, still no luck. I seem to be able to leave other fields blank and it works, but leaving that one blank and skipping over it when inputting the information still doesn't work

Mine is an older version of adobe 8 or 9 I guess. Can you try using 8.1 as cic has recommended?

Hi again, just wanted to let you know that I tried doing what you said about trying it on an older version, still didn't work. I even tried it on different computers run different operating systems and different version of adobe reader, and it still didnt work, won't let me validate unless there is something in the UCI field. I'm jsut going to put a bunch of zero's and write a note saying that it wouldn't work. hope everything goes ok. :-[

As a last resort, you can just add the zeros and make a note. Sorry, could not be of much help :(

The form does not allow the field to be empty, so what I (and others discussing this issue) have done is enter zeros. Presumably, someone at CIC will notice this at some point and either look it up or decide it doesn't matter.

Hmm. I was able to leave that field empty without any problems...
