Sad to here that, my application is similar to you backlog reduction
Pilot and i got my AOR from CIO in Jan 15 2013 but until now i didn't get
Such a notice even.. Have you got the notification after the AOR from CIO or London visa office??

dont worry, i received my AOR from CIO on june 2012, but after that i could not receive any notification/AOR/MR/RPRF/..............nothing form any VO rneither from LVO nor from ADVO. When after 8 months i sent CSE to LVO then they replied that ur case is not in LVO ur case is in ABU DHABI VO.

I can't do any thing except wait wait and wait, coz ADVO is also not replying after 28 days if i could not receive response from ADVO then i will send again reminder till that time patience.........................so you will have to wait and keep checking ur mail box.

It seems that early 2012 applicants were more lucky
Than us as most of them finalized their cases in 10 months from

true, my cousin received AOR from CIO in january 2012 and got visa last week. same stream he applied from pakistan and his VO was LVO.

Hi Foures,

No answer = No response .... I can see in many other visa offices
such as Accra, New Delhi, Manela's applicants who applied end of
2012 are done with their medicals...

I think you get the med request by regular mail as is contains some forms to be filled and given to medical center where you would undergo medical tests.

True we can never plan future steps at all. It is another way of discouraging people not to come to canada

You should follow up with them... Its unusual delay
as many applicants applied at the same time and
now they are in Canada....!!!

Hi, in application form to CIO which VO you have mensioned ? London or Abu Dhabi?

don't worry i think you're case still on a normal process, my file was received in CIO on Dec 2011, then they forwarded it to London, I've got an email from London VO that they transferred my file to Abu Dhabi by April 2012, then I've got an AOR from ADVO on June 2012, then MR(medical request) by July 2012, med results received in London VO by Aug 2012, then I've got the PPR(PassPort Request) by Sep 03, PP returned with visa by Sep 25, 2012. Please see my timeline for your reference.

Just give them more time, you will soon hear from them, just check your email daily. Goodluck and God bless!

I am Pakistani citizen and living in UAE since last 7 years. In Nov 2007 I had applied for FSW programme and at that point of time as per CIC website sent application kit to London Visa Office.

In Mar 2012, they have given opportunity to transfer application to PNP under FSW Backlog programme. In short I have been nominated by Ontario as PNP under FSW Backklog.

In Feb 2013 I sent my application kit to CIO, at that point of time I didn’t release that it was Provincial Economic class, and without noticed I had mentioned London as Visa Office . While as per CIC website only for Federal Economic London should mention as VO. Now I am confused, will they return application back to me or they will forward application to ADVO or London?
