Why do some people receive Pre arrival letter before MR and some people after?

Pre arrival is sent out once your eligibility is passed and medical request once your criminal is passed. It all depends on which one is done first

Ok. I think remericals are issued once everything including security is done. Can i ask ur country of origin?

I am from England - I called again today and it said that medicals are passed and they are processing the background check - I can't seem to find anything on their website that indicates what happens in a background check or how long it takes?

Hve you tried to reach out to your MP as they can get more detailed access

Nov 2016 applicant, passed medical last Dec and got Resume/CV request on Feb. 23 2018.
Status shows document uploaded since then, nothing changes for almost 5 months
