If anyone who has yet to do the Medical Check, I thought I would share what is actually done. I found it less of an actual medical exam than I went into it thinking. Although, perhaps it is different being an inland applicant versus one outside Canada.

20 October 2016 – Inland PR applicant (Alberta PNP)
20 December 2017 – Medical request
27 December 2017 – Medical done

At Doctors Office (Medical ‘Exam’):
1. Via nurses: height, weight, blood pressure check, vision check from chart 30ft away
2. Via doctor: usual basic health and family health questions, ear and mouth check, check for lumps/pain in stomach

At Pathology Lab (Blood work):
1. Urine and blood sample (testing for HIV, TB, Syphilis, and etc.)

At X-Ray Lab (Chest X-Ray):
1. Chest X-Ray

Total cost: $400 CAD
Total time (including waiting time): 2.5 hours

Thanks for sharing the information as it would be a good reference for the people who aren't aware of what they do on medical's day. But just adding something to the post is that the TOTAL COST will vary depending on the physician(inland or out-land).

different . I called three clinic from list in vancouver. One charge 295, one charge 275. One charge 325. I pick the 295. Because it’s available today. The other two available from Jan 4th
