You should receive an UMI number in the email or your CIC account. If you didn't receive that, then you can go and request for upfront medicals. The doctor will send your results to CIC. Make sure you give your UCI number to the doctor. The doctor will also give you a form which you must upload on CIC's case enquiry when you get home.

How can trump affect your pr application in Canada ? USA and Canada is two different country with different immigration rule. Do not get panic.

You're right, but if the immigration options get reduced in USA, the Canadian immigration requests could increase. This could delay our process I think.

You do not need to add those. Submit only documents requested in the application guide. All the best!
