In August I called them everything pass just wait, until now sill nothing !!!

adding myself here, June 17th app, CIC screwed up with my medicals which i had found out in july and was sorted out in August, they also screwed up with my email address info creating confusion. naturally they are very very human
Currently medicals are passed, eligibility passed, Background is in process, i dont know when whats gonna happen...

Hello everyone I'm new to this forum. I have a question. My work permit is going to be expired on Nov 4 2016. Should I start the renewing application next week?

Waiting for PPR email.

I would not suggest you to worry until 31st October. You will definitely get PPR By end of October.
If not get PPR by October 31st, than apply online.
I did the same and got work permit in 3 weeks.
Don't worry about implied status. Keep patients and save money by not applying early.

Yes, they messed up, but they don't want to catch up, all counts to our problem and postpone on our application! so suck !

I am trying to figure it out as well. PS is paper screen so as per the info I think basically they are screen the dependant. Did they ask her for any additional document?

No they did not...we did not get any additional document request...everything is passed. she has been in canada since the time i filed for my PNP.

If you sent original passports, it's between 2/3 weeks.

If it's just copies because you are from excerpt visa country, it might be one week

My background check changed to IN PROGRESS on July 28th. So after 2 months of that I received PPR.

So I went to our local MP office today, I was really frantic about the Indo-Pak situation and discussed with her about the GCMS notes , she had a good look at my notes and said , it looks good and since they did not ask for any additional document for my husband I should not worry about the coding on location. She said she will get back to me as soon as she gets a good answer from cic.

Hi. I am July, 9th applicant. I have only 2 weeks before my work permit will expire. My online application for extension is ready for submit, but I'm not sure what to do. Of course, I can wait for another week before submitting and hopefully to get PPR, but what do you think an immigration officer will ask me on the border, if I'll have all documents for landing, but my WP will be expired?!

you can go ofcours .but i believe you will get PPR tomorrow or next week if you are june or july applicant

I received my passport back after PR visa . I haven't done landing yet, please suggest..

Is this possible to go back home without doing landing here and use PR visa while coming back and do landing at airport . as my current status in Canada is Work permit and donot have Temporary resident visa.

Donot want to wait forPR card to go back home .

Please suggest .

guys any one has any idea which is the nearest USA border with Saskatchewan. I know about North portal but I also heard that there are another one border? If anyone knows can u pls explain.
Any please guide me do I need to take any document from my employer or Bank statement when I go for landing?

you can do your landing in airport while you return from back home, Visa you get it is to enter in Canada(one entry visa)
