yes should be done before .No idea about process wait for new rules to come up in june .
As per" Minister Kenney proposes to assess foreign education credentials before skilled workers arrive". We pharmacist have a problem as PEBC doesn't give any report that they have our credential assessed . better to opt for some agency . Again my suggestion , just nt sure about whole process

The documents evaluation by PEBC takes 8 weeks. so if u r intending to apply in Jul (when cap for NOC 3131 gets re-opened), this is the time when we must start the process and send the application and required docs to PEBC by Apr end...

Anyone giving Qualifying (Parts I and II) Exam a shot this year - either on May or November? Did you enroll with any IPG Bridging course? How do you find the course? please share your experience about it. Thanks.

please help clarify things for me
so now in order to apply for immigration as skilled worker professional noc 3131 (pharmacist) we should first sit for pharmacist qualifying exams (I&II) and pass, or should i just send my graduation certificate to the PEBC and they answer back if its certifiable or not ?

Regarding Qualification of Pharmacy technicians in India .
I have a friend working as pharmacy technician. After completion of 3 yrs of b.pharmacy she started working as pharmacy technician and then simultaneously completed her bachelors degree . can she gain any points for that 1 year work experience . Actually even got paid for working in pharmacy store .As pharmacy council of India doesn't have any guidelines for pharmacy technician kindly suggest .
To Answer your question please go to PEBC website and click on Pham Tech (just type PEBC in a google serch tab).

lots of options and depends where you're at. listed three of them and I hope you've accomplished one on the list.

1 You will need to have 2000 hours Canadian Pharm Tech experience for the past 36 months then successfully pass the Evaluating Exam and lastly, to sit for the Pharm Tech qualifying exam

2 or graduated from an accredited Pharm tech (CCAPP) a.k.a Pharm Tech program, then successfully pass the Evaluating Exam for Pharm Tech and lastly to pass the qualifying exam.

3 or must have pass the :D Pharmacist evaluating exam to sit for the Pharm Tech Qualifying exam in order to get certified as Pharm Tech in Canada.

Send the following documents to PEBC:
1- certified translation of ur birth certificate.
2- PEBC application form.
3- certified copy of ur pharmacy degree.
4- certificate of license from pharmacy council (to be sent directly from council to PEBC in sealed envelop)
5- ur consolidated transcript current dated (to be sent directly from ur university to PEBC in sealed envelop)
5- payment (DD or on-line) 530 CAD

In 8 weeks time, PEBC will send u the results of ur documents evaluation to ur mailing address. U need to send the results along with CIC application if u intend to apply for Canadian immigration. Note, at this point in time cap for 3131 NOC has been reached, so u can earliest apply on or after Jul 01, 2012.

so just the first step of document evaluation not the whole process, this step is mandatory to apply as i understand so should i send the papers before i know that pharmacists are on the list just to be ready or wait till they announce it at june?

Hi Friends,

I have finished B.pharm in 2004 and worked for 2 years in industry(manufacturing). I am 36 years of age.
I have been trying for Australia but I could not make it because of high score of IELTS. Now I am thinking of going to Canada as a immigrant.
My concern is, Do I have to go through step2 and step3 procedures PEBC's requirement inorder to get Canadian Visa?
The reason I have asked is for Australia, you need to complete APEC before we apply for a visa.
Please assist me in this regard. Thank you.

no i don't think so . my personal opinion .wait for new rules to come up in june . at present , just planning for document evaluation by pebc . i think they require credential assessed , no one asking for licensing yet . I would suggest to apply for document evaluation first.
