You need to change status to visitor. You can then stay up to 6 months.

You have to keep legal status in Canada. If PGWP expires then you are not longer a worker, so you must maintain status in Canada. You change your status to visitor. Your TRV allows entrance to come into Canada but doesn’t mean you can stay indefinitely.

No. If you fail to apply for a visitor record as instructed above you will fall out of status in Canada.
