Still not sure :( I called canadapost, they said passport delivered to the right address.
I would suggest call and email CIC. If cic says no, then ask Canada post for a proof of delivery. But I guess you already called them and the rep lady said she's opening an inquiry for you. Hope that should solve your problem real soon. Hang in there. Good luck

Just now read some threads about the landing in rainbow bridge
Cancelled the plan now...
I will book an appointment with nearest CIC office...
PP wait time made me to attain INNER PEACE :D...
Well, you'll need it :D. It takes 1-2 months to get an inland landing appointment.

Speaking of landing, is it easier to visit another country and then come back (not flagpole)? I have a US visa and I also could just visit my home country for the heck of it if it means that I won't have to wait 8 hours on a weekday at the border.

Hey guys,

If we are entering Canada via air then all these landing issues I've been reading doesn't apply, right? I just realized I booked a ticket from Chicago to Toronto for a Saturday. I should be fine right?

Yes, that's the best way to do it, imo. That's what I intend to do as well.
