Finally,, after 6 years of being here. I am officially a permanent resident,,
SIR CONGRATULATIONS, YOU ARE NOW A PERMANENT RESIDENT OF CANADA,, AND THESE ARE ALL YOUR RIGHTS.

also I would like to add, for people doing landing, please take the full envelope. Whatever cic sends you,,I only took my COPR and passport,, there will be a second copy of COPR without the picture,,
The one with the picture,,they keep,,the one without the picture,, they give it back. Luckily I had my cousin at home,,thats why he brought it right away

Not yet. I am checking Canadapost website every few mins in hope of seeing any activity.

Sent a mail to CPC-O to know when they are gonna send our passports. I hope we receive it this week, have a trip planned in August.

Hey guys.. I am in USA.. i sent my passport through FedEx on 9th May. Last Thursday, I received notification that my application is approved and closed, however I still dont see my return FedEx label shipped back .

Do I need to be concerned? can you please give me CIC customer service call number?

As far as I know there is quiet a few of us waiting for our passports since last week! Looks like CIC has not sent any packages since last week.

congratulations to all of you who have waited for so long and now they have got their PR

can anyone tell me how long CIC takes to send back passports? my application was approved and closed on May 29. and i am refreshing fedex tracking page a dozen times a day to see if they have starting back shipping passports.

My passport reached Ottawa on May 16th... can't wait to get it back!!!

They received my passport on May 13th ! It's already been 18 days and no news. I heard that it would take 10 days to 2 weeks.

It takes a while to send it back. My application was approved may 20th but my tracker wasn't activated till may 25th .. So don't worry. U will be ab,e to track it soon.
