you will have to call CIC and ask them to initiate your request for inland landing. They will forward your request to nearest local CIC office.
After that local CIC office has 90 days (they usually respond earlier based on how busy/free they are) to respond to teh request initiated by CIC.
Local CIC office will schedule an appointment and will contact you: by mail (thats what I read on forum).

Hope this helps.

If you have the means to and do not have the time to wait to get your PR then going to Coutts is probably the cheapest and quickest bet. Alternatively you could also leave the country by plane going somewhere you're eligible to go to and fly back... Otherwise if you're not in any rush going to the local office will probably be your cheapest option. Keep in mind it's about a month till you get your actual PR card after you become a PR - not that you necessarily need it...

is there any risk to complete landing proc via flagpole? I mean getting rejection from US.

I'm planning to apply for visitor/business VISA for US and wondering if this rejection for flagpole will impact my future application? (I already have 1 US student VISA rejection prior 2011)

I don't have/never had any US VISA (you might have figured that out ;) )

appreciate your response.

I've never had a problem going back to the states and I flagpoled my last work permit. Been to the states multiple times since. If your worried just get a visa or esta depending where your from.

Hi all
My pp was received by CPP on Feb 13.
After two stressful week without any info abt my passport yesterday my tracker got activated. They missed to scan my courier in Ottawa and I saw it scanned at local post office. I waited whole day and they dint deliver my passport. I called CIC and asked when they sent my pp and they gave me shock by saying they have no updates in their system about my pp.today morning I collected my courier from Canada post and saw my pp and copr..finally after all these stressful days I did my flag polling in the afternoon and entered Canada as PR. I feel so extremely happy and this forum has been a great support...thanks to all u guys who gave me hope....and all the best to all those who are waiting...
