Hello,

My application status:
Sent application to Sydney NS: 26th April 2009
Received AOR/recommendation from Sydney: 02 June 2009

Now i am facing great trouble. I can't send full application to islamabad since i have not taken TEF Basic French exam yet and on my inquiry French Alliance told me that it would take a year to pass Basic french from level 1 to 3 and later needed to appear in TEF exam too.

I have only 120 days and it seems to me better if i withdrawl my case and apply again with TEF result.

But My one Friend advice me to apply for Australian immigration since it is easy compare to Canadian Immigration policies. For Australian immigration i don't need to take French course just IELTS result is enough And processing time is 7 months.

Kindly let me know if anyone else is also interesting in Australian immigration?

What is minimum IELTS requirement for Australia? Also, are you short of points in Canadian immigration and trying to make up with french language?

Its a matter of personal preference. Both countries are good and have their own advantages and disadvantages. See this post if you are looking for opinions

I am not talking about comparison between Canada And Australia.

Australia has Soft immigration Policies compare to Canada so it is easy to go there which many people don;t know.

How did you know Australia has soft immigration polices than Canada?? People who
already went through this process are well known about the system. Waht I know so
far, age is a big factor for Australian immigration. Also, you have to prove that you
have already finished your initial assesment before you going to claim points for your
work and education. So, it's not easy.

Well one thing is true Australia offers more opportunities for young people.

Age between 21-29 (30 points)
Occupation in Demand (60 points)
IELTS 7 Band (25 Points)

You don't need to Pass French exam, No Adaptability points.

They would even give you Bonus points for community language (5 Points)
Occupation in Demand (15 points)

What you need esle?

You havent mentioned points for work experience - and thats where it gets exciting. If you get more experience, you lose points on age. Also, not everyone can claim 60 points for occuption in demand. And, having to have my credentials verified even before I put my application for immigration doesnt sound like fun to me. Lastly how about the $£$£$£ bit. Mind you, it suck a lot of energy (and money) out of you within that one year of tedious application process. Ask those who have done it.

My Dear if you do everything accordingly there is no doubt you will get Australian immigration within 7 months.
And if you are single you need to invest only AUD$ 2555 and within one month being in Australia you can earn back this money.

Have you ever applied for Australian Immigration?

And you need to have only 12 months work experience in occupations in Demand.

there's a logical difference in the type of resources both countries are looking for.

Australia is looking for more young and entry level professionals. On the other hand, Canada is looking for experience people with Managerial experience.

I guess, the above is self-explanatory.

If you are experienced, you may end up doing something lower than your petential in Australia, for starters. on the other hand, if you don't have real management experience, you may end up not getting a job in Canada.

think and take your call... it's one of the most important decisions of your life... maybe, second only to getting married :)

Action speak louder than words. So, if you think it's easy, you should go for it. There is
no reason to add fuel to the fire; trying to make it longer. But, at the end of the day
don't come to say it cost you an arm and a leg.
