WELL here is a Million Dollar thought.... Canada is giving you Citizen Ship, irrespective of your race, religion, creed or culture. Grants you ALL THE RIGHTS.

Most of the so called Muslims states dont even grant you basic Human rights, let alone give you Citizen Ship.... They treat their "Muslim Brothers and Sisters" like slaves.

I think I would always choose a country, where I have Rights, and Respect.

hi seniors
i need help in an urgent matter....
i need my original DMC of masters degree which i submitted along with my application in the university sealed envelop at the time of submission of my documents to CIO, now as i m planning to get further do my masters from UK before landing to Canada, i m in badly need of my original DMC from the embassy. I can get the duplicate from my university but the certificate number will be replaced with the new one and the old one will not be valid ..... Now if the canadian high commission has yet not verified my degrees and if i acquire the duplicate degree then there may be an error with the verification as the certificate number of the old degree will be discarded.

What should i do now?
should i write the embassy to return my original DMC?
should i re-issue the degree and process my student visa and then intimate the Canadian embassy that i re-issued the DMC and send it to the Emabassy afterwards?
(wat if in the meanwhile verification occurs if not yet made?)

I have been through the same situation.

Actually i needed my original certificates back urgently , which i had sent with my application. Upon my email, on 29 Oct, i received a reply dated 01 Nov that they will respond me after checking my file. I got another email after 02 days that my original docs have been sent back to me through signed mail(insured), and they also excused because of not sending these originals through courier, as it was against CIC policy.
Just after 10 days of their email, I got my documents back.

You can even go for the second opinion, i.e. to get a copy of ur DMC issued and update the VO later.

I will disagree a bit, its not a standard reply. IT does represent the status of your case.

SEE this reply means, that ALL is done , no further supporting documents etc are needed and the application is sleeping and will be awaken by REPLY from the office that is conduction Security Clearance/Checks....

Basically, everything is GOOD TO GO, just OK from the office or whoever does the security clearance etc....

My address has come back today, it had disappeared on the ecas on 27 Dec 11 and came back on 6 Jan 12. Do you think I can expect Medicals ?? despite the fact that on 22 Dec 11 London VO had replied to my email that my background checks are in process and they cannot tell when they will be completed, I had already send updated documents in Aug 11.
