Also got the File # from the image of both checks!
its like B XXXX XXXX X.

Mine Checks also got encashed yesterday!!!!!

Date Application reached CIC: July 7th 2010.
Date Both Checks (Processing & RPRF) got encashed: Sep 7th 2010.

Exact 2 month for them to cash my both checks but hey another step done.
COMING UP NEXT: MEDICALS AND AOR!!!

you will have to be more specific...which indian consulate?
For chicago consulate I do know that you hve to send/go in person with passport at stage 2 of PCC application.....also the websites of Indian consulates describe the procedure in detail....

Did u get PCC request from CIC now....because you got AOR on 7/8/10......
Or did you get a PCC request couple of weeks ago

For NY Consulate You need to carry original passport with copies on the day u apply, You can carry back original passport with you and later on Consulate contacts you ( myself got the phone call) and then you need to submit passport in the morning and collect it back after 4.30PM same day.{ I applied in person}

Right now I am in Austin,TX so I will apply my PCC to Houston consulate. My medicals completed but till now I didn't get any request for PCC or FBI. Recently I applied FBI and want to apply PCC from Indian consulate. I don't know whether mail missed or they didn't request FBI/PCC yet.

Is anybody in the same boat ?

Not sure why you waited so long to apply for PCC/FBI report. I think very few would've done this - and we should be more proactive and get our paper work done in time to avoid any further grief. Folks, immigration matters must get priority !

Hello All,

I visited Doctor place for medical on Last friday. Unfortunately I forgot my AOR and bunch of bar code stickers in envelope. I called Medical office and they dont have it. It might be trashed. I dont have copy of it.BUt I know my file number.

There is no issue with Medical , it is ready to go and nothing is missing.

Can I reproduce AOR and those bar codes in case if I needed for address change or something like that?

r u going to reproduce the bar codes????

those barcodes were for the convenience of the file sorters in buffalo. As u lost it, its not gonna do any harm to u.

Just note the number on any communication post mails with buffalo.

And most likely you would just do that once to send your passport.

Here is the update from my side (in bold) -

Passport and RPRF Request through email - 16 August 2010
Passport sent (with RPRF) - 16 August 2010
Passport Received (with RPRF) by CIC - 18 August 2010
Status update - 7 September 2010
New line in the updated status - "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."
Passport sent by CIC (with possibly an immigration visa stamp) - 9 September 2010

The update is based on tracking system provided by USPS and not by CIC.

Meaning - You are about to get your AOR and Medical request.


2) If CIC tracking system gets the line - Medical results have been received.

Meaning - You are about to the get passport request.


3) If CIC tracking system gets the line - A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Meaning - CIC is about to send you the passport back with immigration visa.
