Hi Guys,

I was working full time (40 hours NOC B) from Jan 20th 2020 to June 29th 2020 and simultaneously I was working part time for 2 months (Jan 28th 2020 to March 23rd) (12 hours NOC B). including both the work will make me eligible for CEC. So I just want to know that Can I consider both the jobs while applying for PR under CEC category as they both were during the same time?

You can consider both jobs - but this doesn't really help you in terms of qualifying under CEC.

You need 52 separate weeks where you worked at least 30 hours to qualify for CEC. So if you worked 40 + 12 ours in one week, that's still only counted as a single week of work experience for CEC.

Ok it means I cant Term them as different weeks but can i count the hours of both the work to accumulate total hours requirement of 1560 hours?

You can certainly count these hours towards the 1560 hour requirement. But that really doesn't help you. You still need to have 52 separate weeks where you worked at least 30 hours per week. This work experience fell within the same weeks and cannot be counted separately to get to the 52 weeks needed.

I have 21.5 weeks from one job, 23 weeks from another full time jobs and 7 (FTE) weeks from one part time which in total makes 51 weeks of full time job. but the part time job I mentioned in the above question is overlapping with one of my FT jobs. so if I can count this PT job as well then I will be eligible for CEC but if I exclude this job then I will be 1 week short.

That's not how you calculate your work experience. The 7 weeks from the part time job cannot be counted as separate weeks since it overlaps with your full time work experience.

You only have 44.5 weeks of work experience at this time. You are short around 2 months of work experience to be able to claim a full year.

I may have misunderstood what you've said. It sounds like you may have had another part time job which accounts for the additional 7 weeks.

Anyway - you cannot count overlapping weeks. The part time job you mentioned in your first post cannot be counted separately.

Yes I had two part time and two full time jobs

details are

PT - 7 weeks
FT - 21 weeks
FT - 23 weeks
PT - 3 weeks (overlapping)

and that way I am short of 1 week if I exclude my last PT job

You have to exclude your last job from the calculation. Your last job cannot be counted towards the 52 weeks.

Are you still in Canada? Can you gain more Canadian work experience to qualify?

I guess you can try.
I have few more queries, I got reference letter from my employer & they have written full time job for approximately 40 hours per week,
but I was working for around 25-30 hours every week ( although I have counted it as PT in my calculation).but they have not mentioned my Pay rate in the letter and neither they are giving me any paystubs. So I dnt have any clear idea about the total Hours I worked, so what else I could submit along with reference letter to be on the safer side (I have T4 and bank statement)
