I will let you know, keep me updated on your OWP status.
You have to link you OWP in your account. That way you can see the updates...For us it wasn't easy to make the link, but there are some good tips in this forum.
I think the tip to link the OWP is use the customer number of the person being sponsored.

I have it linked in my online services portal, that was no hassle at all, just not in eCas, i tried using my UCI and my application number, but no joy

We called CIC to get work permit application number, and we have used to link to the website.
Make sure you pay that you pay 255 = 100 (OWP Holder) + 155 (working permit fee).
Initially we only pay 100, so we sent the second payment on November. There are some people that say that if you pay less, it not too much trouble. But we preferred to send the additional 155.

This seems too fast for the OWP... How exactly were you able to see the status of it on eCas? I have already linked mine after logging in through GCKey, but it has never showed up on eCas. Only the PR application is listed. Others I know (and other posters on here) have reported back much the same. Can you give us a step-by-step on how you saw the OWP on eCas? Thanks.

Also, how much were peoples fees for their exam in Canada? Over here they are charging EUR 345 which is $530 CAD.
Does that seem a bit steep or about normal?

Also received MR yesterday!
Will me getting my exam and sending my results from Ireland make any difference to the application does anyone reckon?
Not really unless the clinic does not send the result via web. You can ask the clinic before making an appointment.

Good thinking, thank you! I was just worried it would draw loads of questions as I'm an inland applicant sending my medical from Ireland!
