September applicants with AOR in October are getting their permits out now. So hopefully we'll start getting ours through soon. I assume delays over the Xmas and stuff is why they seem to have slowed down a bit

Also, how much were peoples fees for their exam in Canada? Over here they are charging EUR 345 which is $530 CAD. Does that seem a bit steep or about normal?

Also received MR yesterday! Will me getting my exam and sending my results from Ireland make any difference to the application does anyone reckon?

You know how you can check application processing times on the IMMI website? Do our OWP applications, considering they're sent with PR, fall under the Work Permit - New Employer category? If so, it currently says that online application processing times are at 68 days, working on applications...

This may be a silly question, but, can you pre-emptively get your medical done and have it ready to send? Or must you wait until it's been requested??

Can anybody outline what exactly happens when MR is received? I am currently overseas for a family matter and wont be returning to Canada until Dec 28th. I am a bit worried that if I have to delay the Medical Exam until I return, it will delay the work permit as well
